I love the Jimmy Case, so much it is my 3rd one. I love the workmanship of this case as well as the ability of not needing to carry a wallet for my cash and cards. However, one of the best parts of owning a Jimmy Case is the customer service. On this last case, I mistakenly ordered the wrong case for my new phone. I contacted Jimmy Case at 7:30 PM on a Saturday night and received a response within 30 minutes. It was not one of those automated response either, I actually corresponded with a REAL person. They told me how to go about returning the case they sent me, send them the tracking info and they would immediately start making my new case. I received my new case within 10 days. That folks is customer service. I would recommend not only this case but also this company.
I cannot say enough good things about this product. It is everything that is advertised which is refreshing. I would have given it five stars but the order and shipping process were less than stellar. I ordered on a Sunday. My product did not ship until Wednesday, and then I didn't receive the product until almost two weeks later. (I even paid for Express Shipping!!!!) If JimmyCase can work out the internal process execution missteps then I would expect to give a five star review on my next purchase.
I really like the case, it’s perfect for my needs... but the back case is clearly just the natural wood case which they did a very poor attempt of painting or dying black! Had the phone for less than a month and the black color is already coming off. Very disappointing for a $54 dollar case. I really didn’t expect that to happen for the price.
This is maybe my fourth Jimmy Case and I generally love them, especially after they tightened up the elastic so that cards don't fall out after a few months of use. So construction is much better (4 stars), but I was disappointed in the color of the Ebony Wood case. It looks like a light or medium gray wood in the photo, which gives a nice contrast to the black elastic. But in real life, the wood is almost black. I'd say "faded black" -- so there's almost no contrast with the elastic band. It just looks like a boring black case.
This case used to be awesome. I had one for my last I phone and it was great. Do not get it for iPhone 11 it doesn’t fit as snug. Slides off the side a lot allowing dirt to get under the case plus it is annoying that the case keeps moving. Wish this case fit the same as my old case
